It doesn't matter what your political stand is, there are a few good messages from President Obama's State of the Union Address last night, that I think we can all agree on.
"That responsibility begins not in our classrooms, but in our homes and communities. It's family that first instills the love of learning in a child..."
That is one of the reasons our organization has chosen to focus on family. By focusing on family, the effects can be seen to spread. They spread down to the child and up to our communities. By positively affecting a family, you are positively affecting our society.
He also closed with a great statements that he attributed to Americans. Do you ever think this to yourself?:
"I might not know those people in trouble, but I think I can help them, and I need to try."
I know you can help. We want to give you that opportunity to help them & even give you that extra opportunity to get to know them.
Finally just one more quote:
"I'm not sure how we'll reach that better place beyond the horizon, but I know we'll get there. I know we will."
We CAN get there. Please help us to achieve it. See below or e-mail familybutterfly@gmail.com to see how you can help NOW.
