BE YOU- Beautiful Family

Ever since we started this adventure, I’ve noticed every little family interaction around me. Call it a curse or a blessing, but I seriously can't help but notice different types of families everywhere

So I've decided I’m going to start making Thursdays my “BE YOU- Beautiful family” day and blog about the beautiful family interactions that I see. Every family is unique and that’s what makes each family beautiful.

As I sit trying to decide which family interaction to blog about first I can hear a little boy (probably barely one) running around with a stuffed bulldog in his hand, muttering “dadda dadda dadda” as he runs under chairs and up and down the ramp. His dad is sitting in the corner studying, while his mom chases him back and forth playing hide-n-seek and sitting him down for about 5 seconds at a time to “Read” a book. Right in front of me is a dad sitting on the steps with the cutest little curly, brunette haired girl sitting in between his legs, feeding her a cheerio at a time. Over in the other corner a dad is walking across the room to his wife who is sitting studying next to a stroller, rocking it slowly back and forth.

I know this isn’t just a one “Be You- Beautiful Family” moment, but I just want to make a shout out to all of the young families just trying to make it through school and life while doing their best to raise their families and take care of them. You and your families are beautiful.

Don't forget- you can e-mail us stories about your family to be featured on our "Your Story" page (familybutterfly@gmail.com)
